Serious allegations have been raised against Gulshan Police Station’s OC (Operation) Mizanur Rahman for allegedly delaying the investigation report of a case, pressuring both parties for settlement, and being involved in various unethical activities.According to the allegations, in CR Case No. 2627/2025, Shahiduzzaman filed a case on behalf of Zahi Homes against Sonia Begum. Although more than one year has passed since the case was filed, no investigation report has yet been submitted to the court.The complainants claim that Investigation Officer OC (Operation) Mizanur Rahman intentionally kept the case pending. It is also alleged that he repeatedly pressured the accused parties to reach a compromise by threatening legal consequences.Sources further stated that the dispute revolves around a partially constructed building. Although the agreement was made for the construction of a seven-story building, only the roof casting of the third floor has been completed so far. No further construction work has progressed since then. Despite the prolonged delay in construction, the investigation report has still not been submitted.During the tenure of former OC Hafizur Rahman, he reportedly visited the site personally, inspected the construction progress, collected photographs, and instructed the concerned officer to submit the investigation report. However, even after his transfer and the arrival of two new OCs, no effective action has been taken regarding the matter.Locals have also accused OC Mizanur Rahman of involvement in various unethical activities, including scandals involving women and allegedly collecting money from different beauty parlors through illegal means. Residents of Gulshan claim that multiple complaints were submitted against him, yet no administrative action has been taken so far.The allegations have sparked frustration among local residents, who are demanding a fair investigation and necessary action against the accused officer.
