In a historic and unprecedented gesture, Alhaj Syed Zahir Ahsan Zahid, Chairman of Mostafa Foundation and Crimeof24Media, has sacrificed camels in Saudi Arabia in the name of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia. This act is being recognized as a first time ever initiative of its kind by a Bangladeshi businessman for the leader.
According to reports, Alhaj Syed Zahir Ahsan Zahid began this practice in 2025. Continuing this devotion, he sacrificed three additional camels during the holy month of Ramadan 2026 for the spiritual well-being of Khaleda Zia. This is being hailed as the first time ever such a unique charitable step has been taken in her honor on international soil.
In addition to this, he offered sacrifices (Sadaqah) for his late parents, his children, and the global Muslim Ummah.
During his Ramadan Islamic tour, Mr. Zahid visited Egypt and Alexandria. He visited the shrine of Imam Hussain (R.A.) and more than 50 other shrines of the Sahaba, Awliya, and various Prophets.
Following his stay in Egypt, he traveled to Makkah to perform Umrah, where he prayed for the welfare of Bangladesh. Later, in Madinah, he paid respects at the Rawdah Mubarak of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and offered special prayers for the family of the late President Ziaur Rahman.
